Swansea artist Keith Bayliss recently visited Level 1 Creative Media students at the Llwyn y Bryn campus for an imaginative print workshop.
The students created a series of collagraph prints based on the Dylan Thomas poem ‘Especially When The October Wind.’
"Guided by Keith, the students responded with creativity and flair to produce a series of original images," says course coordinator Phillip Jacobs. "The print workshop was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and there was a real buzz of excitement as each student inked-up and printed their final outcomes. It was great fun and it helped to bring the poetry alive for the students."
This work is part of a larger college project based on the works of Thomas which ties in with the centenary celebrations planned for 2013.
