Freshers’ Fayres to welcome students

This year’s Freshers’ Fayre at Gower College Swansea promises to give students a warm welcome as well as providing them with some top class entertainment.

Among the performers are The Voice star Bronwen Lewis, local rock band Carbon, Britain’s Got Talent finalists TDM, FabDrumming and ‘close up’ magician to the stars Phil Jay.

“The Freshers’ Fayre is a fantastic opportunity to welcome new students to the college,” says Learner Services Manager Anne Pitman. “They can to get to know each other, pick up useful information, join clubs and sports teams and have a go at the many activities on offer. I’m delighted that so many local organisations have again supported us by attending this year’s event. I’m also really pleased that we have on board such high profile musicians and performers for the students to enjoy.”

Among the attendees will be INFONATION, South Wales Police, Terrence Higgins Trust and Swansea Sparkle.

Other highlights include the return of the Bucking Bronco, a DJ set from Dale B and the Big Ideas photo booth.
