Monday 13th - Friday 17th January is Healthy Lifestyle Week at Gower College Swansea!
This week is all about making small, positive changes and choices that lead to a healthier, happier you!
We also have a number of FREE exercise classes at our Sports Centre for you to take advantage of. Classes must be booked in advance so book your spot today and kickstart the new year!
3 Healthy changes YOU can make this week...
1. Replace your fizzy drinks with water. 2 Litres a day is the recommended daily amount (this will also help with hair and skin).
2. Swap your snacks with Fruit! We are reccomended 5 fruit and veg a day. Replace your break time crisps with an apple or banana and make sure to fill your plate with plenty of veggies at meal times! There are so many delicious varieties out there to try so get adventurous!
3.Get Active! Whether it's just taking a walk instead of the bus to and from college, joinning a gym or just having a kick around with friends. Exercise is perfect for the mind and the body and boosts endorphins (I.E It makes you happy!) Check out the timetable at our Sports Centre for varied, fun and effective classes!
